Melani Lust
Since 2007, she’s captured heirloom-quality photographs for more than 300 couples. And in that time, she’s photographed each unique story in a lasting & heartfelt way - with warmth, vision, thoughtful composition, & discretion. Prior starting to photograph weddings, Melani earned her Masters of Art History at NYU where she studied the elements that work together to create dynamic and important works of art. In her post-graduate studies at the International Center for Photography, she learned to produce unique images through a lens of compositional integrity, emotive lighting, and honesty. With coursework focused in editorial photography and refined museum-quality printmaking, she developed her discerning eye for human expression. After her studies, she became a researcher for Sotheby's Art Auction House. It was there she learned the selective taste of luxury clients & how to authenticate, document and catalogue works of art in that fast paced, continuing rotation.
Today, she brings all of that experience to your day to make sure your story is beautifully captured. She resides in CT and NYC and photographs all over the world. Destination weddings are a speciality and she is proficient in Spanish and French.
